Threat Against Democracy (TAD). One of the cornerstones of
our democracy is a free and independent press.
Limiting the press would be, in my opinion, a Threat Against Democracy
(TAD). I find recent comments about
possible actions against journalists who are critical of the new administration
troubling. How concerned should I
be? Maybe just a TAD.

Threat Against Democracy (TAD)
Threat Against Democracy (TAD). In 1972 I cast my first
presidential ballot – for Nixon.
However, as Watergate unfolded I became convinced that the actions of
Nixon and his confederates constituted a Threat Against Democracy (TAD). Today I watch with dismay as civil discourse,
respect, and finding common ground are giving away on all sides to vile
personal attacks, hate, and spite. I don’t
know how concerned I should be. Maybe
just a TAD.
